After two rounds of interviews with contractor's we decided on ELS Construction, this proved to be a perfect match for us. We were continually amazed how accurately Eric projected our budget for allowances, he clearly did his homework to avoid the potential for hidden or escalating cost. The process...one of our personal goals was to have our plan reach completion with no surprise's. Fortunately there were a few surprises, but they were all good surprises. Countless times we would meet with Eric and he would start the conversation with " I was just thinking..., but you don't have to decide right now." He was always thinking of improvements and giving us ample time to digest his suggestions. The devil is in the detail...Eric is meticulous. He maintained a pristine worksite. He worked tirelessly with the tradesmen to guarantee that the finished product is as close to perfect as possiable. Even now, when he drops by to visit, he's looking to address any imperfections. The result...we are living in a gorgeous home. The process was stress free for us mainly because Eric absorbed all the stress and worry, his expertise allowed us to stand back and let him be the construction contractor. The job progressed smoothly because of his planning and attention to detail, his personality kept the work site enjoyable. He provided the intangibles that resulted in a great house, but more importantly our association has resulted in a lifelong friendship with Eric. In the end, I cannot imagine home construction being a more enjoyable process.
